For skin that reacts to most things

Five things to check before buying for skin that reacts.

Gentle is a word anyone can print. There is no bar to clear before a bottle says mild, or suitable for sensitive skin, so a reactive hand is usually the thing that finds out. Five questions separate a description from a measurement. The answers for this one are underneath each.

Was it tested on skin, by a dermatologist, and does it say so?

Coconut Milk was. A patch test in India, read by a dermatologist, rated non-irritant on normal and sensitive skin. The same result covers the hand wash and the body wash.

  2. 02

Is there a named ingredient doing the work, or a mood?

In the hand wash, Jojoba Seed Oil supports the lipid barrier, the part a wash most often takes off, and Kerashaft Q looks after nails. In the body wash, Jojoba Seed Oil supports the skin barrier with every wash. Prickly Pear protects in both.

Jojoba seeds and a drop of oil, close.

Is the ingredient list published, in order?

Yes, for both washes, on the product page, from our CDSCO filing. The printed hand wash panel has errors and is being corrected at the source.

Is natural a number, or an adjective?

A number. Biorius in Belgium audited this formula ingredient by ingredient. The figures are on this page and on the product page, and they are different for the hand wash and the body wash, because they were measured separately.

  5. 05

Is it clear, or made to look rich?

Clear. Every wash in the range is a colourless, viscous gel. Nothing is added to make it look creamy, because looking creamy is not a benefit to skin.
